I'm 67 years old as I write this, and I have never seen such a year as 2020. Things are so bad this year, that I feel like we have somehow missed the Rapture, but I know that isn't true. Because I know I'm saved and I'm still here. I know others that are saved and they are still here. But, I'm just telling you what is developing, and it's so exciting. The end time is near. That time we have so often heard about and been waiting for is about to come. Jesus is coming back to this earth very soon. Things are developing very quickly, especially this past year, to prepare the coming of the Anti-Christ to the earth. But, before he comes, the Rapture will take place and we will be taken up to be with the Lord Jesus.
2Th 2:1 ¶ Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 ¶ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; ...... 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Notice in verse 1, it says that we shall be gathered up together unto the Lord Jesus Christ. A careful study of the book of Revelations will show us that the Rapture will take place before the Seven Year Tribulation Period begins. Also, notice in verses 6-8 it says that something is withholding the Evil One from appearing on earth. What is withholding the Anti-Christ from appearing? The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is holding him back. "He who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way." Or, He who is now restraining will continue to restrain until He be taken out of the way. The Holy Spirit has been restraining the Anti-Christ, and will continue to do so. But, it says, "until He be taken out of the way." That means the Holy Spirit will be taken out of the earth, which will then allow the "Beast" to have full access on earth. But, how is the Holy Spirit taken out? Well, the Holy Spirit dwells in individual Christians, and when the Rapture comes, the Christians, and the Holy Spirit in them, are taken up to be with Christ.
At this time, there will be no Holy Spirit on the earth, and there will be no Christians on earth. However, there will still be millions of nominal Christians, religious fakes that were never saved. Churches will go right on as they always have. But, the "Time of the Gentiles" or the "Church Age" is officially over. The Rapture ends it. Now, God turns His attention to Israel, thus beginning what the Bible refers to as "Jacob's Trouble" (Jeremiah 30:7) which will last for seven years.
Furthermore, I believe according to verses 11 and 12 in the passage, and other verses elsewhere, that all those who have rejected the Gospel previously will have no chance to get saved in the tribulation period. "They will believe a lie," the Bible says. So, it's too late for them. Only the lost people that have never heard the Gospel before the Rapture can be saved when they hear it during the tribulation, and doing so will mean certain death. But, how can they hear it if all the true Christians have been raptured? Well, there will still be Bibles on the earth. Also, it seems that in Revelations, it teaches that the 12,000 men that God calls out of each tribe of Israel, totally 144,000 will be his preachers during the Great Tribulation Period, preaching the "Gospel of the Kingdom," the same Gospel that Jesus sent His apostles out to preach. But, here they will preach that Jesus is the Messiah, that He is coming again, and will set up His Kingdom on earth. These preachers will also be put to death.
So, what are these developments from 2020 that have begun the process that will usher in the Anti-Christ? Well, I can see four major developments that proceeded from four big events in 2020. Maybe there are some minor ones no doubt, but the four major ones are very obvious to me, and to anyone else with their eyes open, and I list them in the order they developed.
The Four Big Events of 2020
1). The Covid-19 worldwide pandemic
2). Racial Protests and Riots in the U.S.
2). The Aggressiveness of Big Tech
3). The Presidential Election in the U.S.
1) COVID 19
In the beginning of 2020, we all became aware of Covid -19. This was the first and the most important development that I believe sets the stage for the Anti-Christ to come. Everyone can see how that governments have become more aggressive with the people in their countries. Even in the U.S., the "land of the free," we can see how our freedoms have quickly all of a sudden become so fragile. All a government leader has to do is to declare a state of emergency, make an executive order, and "poof," there went another freedom. But a state of emergency is not suppose to last this long. The president, the governors, and the mayors are all involved. I do believe President Trump and Republican Governors and mayors have been the most reluctant in making executive orders and restricting freedoms. It is mostly democrats in the U.S. that are becoming power hungry and under a state of emergency, having unlimited power, and it can only be challenged in the courts. Here we are in December, and in Los Angeles, the mayor has ordered another shut down on the whole city of LA. No one is allowed to be outside unless they are essential workers or have a good reason to be out.
People are afraid. As a mailman, I go to the door with a certified letter, and say to the customer, "because of Covid-19, do you mind if I sign for you as your agent?" "Oh, yes, certainly," they say. This way I don't have to give them my scanner to sign and then they hand it back to me with their germs on it. If they don't agree, then I write up a slip and they can take it to the post office to sign for the certified. But, not one person has refused allowing me to sign for them as their agent. A customer might walk up too close to me, and I throw my hand up, and they stop dead in their tracks, saying "Oops," realizing that because of Covid-19, I don't want them within six feet of me. If I hand something to them, I stretch my arm out as far as I can to give it to them.
So, a person says "because of Covid-19," and you can get almost anything you want. And, this is what many leaders in our country are doing. It worked for the first few months of the year, but people are getting tired of it. The vaccine is finished and waiting distribution in the next month or two, so we'll see how that goes. Gulp.
But, how is Covid-19 setting a pathway to the Mark of the Beast? I heard on the news the other day, that in Great Britain, they are already telling their people that receives the upcoming vaccination that they will receive a Covid-19 ID card declaring that they have been vaccinated. Now, they can't force anyone to get vaccinated, but if anyone refuses, then they won't have a card, so then they can't fly on a plane, go on a cruise, and so forth. Businesses will refuse to allow them to come into their stores. When I heard this I thought of Revelations 13:17 "And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark...."
So, do I believe this vaccination card is the mark of the Beast? No. No way. But, it is a big step to that end. It, like other things going on this year, will set the pattern. Begin the process. People will be conditioned to accept certain behaviors, so later when the time comes for them to identify themselves with the Beast, they will do it. They will take the mark. But, they will know what they are doing. They won't be tricked into it.
For example, in the past I have wondered if something like Social Security cards might be the mark of the Beast, but nope, it doesn't work that way. Contrary to some fear-inducing conspiracy theories that have from time to time gained some popularity, the “mark” is not at all something that could be accidentally taken. Why? Because the Mark of the Beast according to Revelations 13 is a mark that is closely tied to the worship of the Beast, thus the mark of the beast is a mark of loyalty and devotion to the Beast. People will fully know what they are doing. So, it's exciting for me to hear all this coming about, that we can see that things are indeed in motion. Never saw it before, but in 2020, I strongly believe that God has set things into motion.
No doubt that we in the US will also get a vaccination ID card that will identify us as being immune to the Covid-19 virus. I really believe it will happen. It's just a few months away. People will have no problem taking it. I am not sure if I will take the shot or not. When the time comes, if it isn't any different than the flu shot, then I may take it. I get flu shots every year and they have worked well for me, and I don't get the flu like I used to. But, even if I get the Covid shot, I really don't like the idea of having to get the ID card, because that's a matter of control. But, it's not the Mark of the Beast. Christians will not be here when the time comes for getting the Mark of the Beast in order to buy or sell. So, I'm not worried about that part. But, it is exciting to see these developments that all this is really falling into place. God is real! The Bible is real! And, the Lord Jesus will come to get us whenever that time comes for the Tribulation Period to begin.
In the past 30 years, I have to admit that I would sometimes wonder, "Lord are you coming back as you said you would?" But, maybe, it won't be during my lifetime. I thought He would return in the late 80's and early 90's. But, He didn't. Hence, back then, I never worried much about my retirement because I didn't think I would be around this long. Surely, the Rapture will happen before I'm 65. But, now I'm 67, and it still hasn't happened, and there were no signs of it happening. But, now in 2020, we can see the signs, at least 4 of them, and it is so exciting to know the Rapture may not be far off. Nevertheless, if it doesn't happen in my lifetime, at least I've seen at least four signs that it's not too far away.
2Pe 3:3 ¶ Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 8 ¶ But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 ¶ The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 ¶ Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
So, is Covid-19 a sign that the Lord's return is near? Yes, I really believe it is, because of the great effect it has had on the lives and the nations around the world. The tremendous effect it has had on political leaders and upon our freedoms, it can't be denied. The world wide pandemic has loosened the restraints of power hungry leaders, and it's only going to be worse next year as we get the vaccine cards. Again, let me say that right now, December 4, 2020, I look at the Covid-19 vaccine the same way I look at the flu vaccine, but these leaders are not going to see it that way. They will continue their scare tactics and use the Covid-19 card as a power grab. It's just a gimmick for evil politicians to hype it up and gain more power.
2) RACIAL PROTESTS AND RIOTS IN THE US
Again, I am 67 years old. I was born in 1953, so I was old enough to remember living in Winchester, Kentucky in the late 50's and 60's that the Clark County Court House had separate restrooms for the Blacks. Well, that's racism, no doubt. If your skin was black then you went to a different restroom than the whites. During the 60's, I remember the riots and the protests around the country and then the passing of the Civil Rights legislation. I remember it. And, from time to time we have all seen the protests and riots because of the killing of Trayvon Martin in Florida in 2012, Michael Brown in Ferguson in 2014, and others.
But, in 2020, I have never seen such riots and lootings before. These protests and riots were not isolated or regional events as in the past, but they erupted all over the country, and they lasted for long periods of time going on for months in some cities. Portland riots, burning and looting went on every night for over three months.
But, why the difference now? Was it that the Blacks just could not take it any longer, and it all just exploded across the country? Well, that may be some of it, but the main reason I believe was that the Democratic governors and city mayors allowed it, even encouraged it. Sometimes they even were protesting with the protesters and making excuses for the lootings and burnings. Now, I don't recall that ever happening before, when they had such a free reign to loot, burn, and destroy. I won't get into all of it in detail, but you know what I mean. You saw the same things. But, there is no doubt that all this racial stuff going on this past year was a big deal, mainly because the leaders allowed it. But, why did it happen this year?
So, why do I put the racial unrest in the US as a development for the coming of the Anti-Christ? Covid-19 was all over the world, but this racial upheaval was only here in the U.S. Unless you want to count the protesting in Paris and London, but they were protesting racism in the US. So, basically it was a problem in our country. But, why do I include it in these events of the year that are stepping stones to the Great Tribulation?
Well, to be brief on this, because I want to cover two more events, let's say that it is to get America out of the way, so the Beast can come on the scene. Let's not forget that God is doing all this. He is in complete control. And, it seems to me that God is now removing the USA from being a superpower over the rest of the world.
When you read Revelations and other prophetic books of the Bible, you see all the players on stage at the final curtain of world events. But, you don't see the USA. We will have become weak and irrelevant, no longer a superpower influencing world decisions.
So, how does the problem with racism effect the weakening of the USA and open the doors for the Anti-Christ to enter the world stage? Well, what have you heard all year with all the protests and riots? That all the systems in the US are racist against people of color and favors whites. So, to get rid of the unfair system that gives privilege to whites only, the systems must be torn down and rebuilt. They say it must be rebuilt in order to allow all races to live with equal privileges. So, they want to destroy the US and rebuild the country. They also want to change the history in the U.S. How? Tear down statues and change the history books so that it would describe America as stealing the land from the Native Indians and Hispanics, and point out that we built the country on the backs of black slaves. President Trump said that if he got elected again that he would make sure that public schools teach a patriotic and correct history of our country. Well, too late for that.
Most in the Democratic party support this socialistic idea, and the party is rapidly moving more to the extreme left. The "Black Lives Matters" organization claims to be Marxist. Their website claims that they are socialists. U.S. corporations are getting involved in indorsing BLM. Yes, we are becoming more and more a socialist country. There is great division in this country, and we all know what Abe Lincoln said that, "a country divided cannot stand."
"So, ok, I can see how the racism issue and socialism is changing America, but how will that help bring in the Tribulation Period?" The answer is one word. Israel. You see, a superpower USA has defended Israel since it began in 1948. We all know that Hitler killed six million Jews, but the US defeated Nazi Germany, and immediately the Jews began the Zionist movement migrating back to the Holy Land. Three years later in 1948, Israel became a country. Right away, Israel was attacked by Egypt and others, and Israel being armed and supplied by the US, defeated these attacks. Later, as other larger, more powerful countries began to move on Israel, such as Iraq, it was always the US protecting them. Israel can protect themselves when attacked by smaller countries, but when Iraq, Iran, Russia or China make a move, then the US has to defend them. So, actually, it was God all along defending Israel. How? By making the US a superpower during WW2 and keeping us strong until now.
I see that from 1948 to 2020, God has blessed and used America to protect Israel. So, what do you think happens when God removes the US from being a world superpower? Israel stands alone doesn't she? Other countries will begin to make their move on Israel, and God will become her protector. "Jacob's Troubles" begin.
In Revelations, we see the Anti-Christ and European nations move on the Middle East, and a coalition of Arab countries align themselves against Israel. We also see Russia (Gog and Magog, Rev. 20:8) come down against her. And, finally, we see China (kings of the East, Rev. 16:12-17) make it's move on the Middle East in the Battle of Armageddon . But, the USA is never mentioned anywhere in the Bible. You know we would not be allowing this to go on if we are at that time as we are now. But, we won't be. We will have become so weakened, that we will stay out of it. No doubt our views on Israel will also change then, being more in line with the rest of the world. You can see this attitude against Israel growing in out country even now. The world has always hated Israel, but it was the Christian influence in America that has tried to help her. Remember, during this time when countries make their move against Israel, the Rapture has already taken place. The true Christians have been removed, so America will not care about Israel. All that will be here on earth is the one world church that Revelations refers to as "The Great Whore," and she will be in alliance with the Beast against Israel.
3). THE AGGRESSIVENESS OF BIG TECH
Now, we have had Big Tech around for a good while. Facebook, Twitter, Google, YouTube, and other social media companies have been around for a couple of decades. But, what has been different this year than in the past? Because of Covid-19, the Racial Protests/Riots, and the Presidential Campaigns, this has brought about the efforts of Big Tech to have the opportunity to take part in molding America as they want it to be. As I said, the Left says that the American systems are corrupt with White Privilege, and they are going to do their part in correcting racism, defeating Trump and all Republicans in order to usher in their socialistic policies.
Let me say that Trump was not defeated by Biden. Trump was defeated by Big Tech. They along with the mainstream media used tactics that I have never seen before. It really reminded me of the propaganda and the censorship that went on by the Nazis in order to get their man Hitler into office. During the 2020 campaign, the flow of information was tightly controlled by Big Tech by using fact checks, censoring, and even suspending or expelling conservatives from their sites. I could say a lot about all this, but I will just quickly get to the point of how they are being used as a tool to open the door for the Anti-Christ.
Remember 2Thes 2:11, "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
Now, God does not lie. The Bible is very clear on that. But, the verse is implying that God "allows" or "permits" this strong delusion to come forth that they might believe these lies. This was similar when God allowed an evil lying spirit into the mouths of Ahab's prophets. So, God permits the people to fix in their minds a totally erroneous conception as being true, which allows them to be as zealous and devoted to the erroneous concept as they could be to the true one. And, we often ask ourselves, "how can the Left believe the insane things they believe and promote?" Do they really believe it to be true? Yes they do. How? By lying spirits that God allows to misguide them.
So, I believe that God is allowing Big Tech to really show themselves in 2020. I've never seen anything like it. It's amazing how relatively low key they have been in the past, only interested in making money and building up their corporations, but they are really showing themselves, feeling their oats in 2020 for now they feel powerful enough to get involved politically and socially. After all, they are social media. They are not backing down, but they are letting it fly full force. They saw Covid-19, and they said, "This is our chance. We can make our move here." And, they are not ashamed to do so and show their biases. They are emboldened, because they operate over the internet and have less government regulations in what they do than most other medias.
Yes, they no doubt felt somewhat responsible for Hillary Clinton losing in 2016 due to so much on social media that they felt was false against her. Back then, they just bit their lip. But, this time around in 2020, they would make sure it doesn't happen again. How? By Fact Checks and Censoring the conservative voices and then allow liberals to make any wild and untrue statements they wanted to.
We all know how dangerous the media and technology can be in promoting their views and squashing the oppositional views. Thus, no doubt they will become the voice of the Evil One that is about to come upon the earth, and will censor any resisting voices. In my view, Big Tech will be the voice of the Anti-Christ deceiving the masses of people around the world, and silence all those that speak out against him. If Big Tech can get someone boring like Joe Biden elected, just think what they can do with a charismatic leader like the Anti-Christ who will be able to perform miracles (Rev 13:13,14). Remember, Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and others operate around the world, not just in the US. Hey, I bet the Anti-Christ will have a Twitter account at that time. The whole world will be able to see him and hear him speak.
Speaking of the Anti-Christ and Big Tech owners, who will support him, I thought of this verse, Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
This verse really has a special meaning for us today. It speaks of a prince and someone having authority of the AIR. Wow! Of course, this is speaking of Satan in general, but he will in the future be behind the Anti-Christ. So, he will have power over the air, and it will work in the children of disobedience. So, let me ask you, who has power over the air waves today? Who controls the flow of information? Well, at least in this country, it's mainstream media and Big Tech. Internet companies like Google, Facebook, and Twitter are increasingly becoming the big players and leaders and will continue to do so in the future with even more power. The U.S. mainstream news media, cable and satellite, does not reach around the world, but our social media, Facebook, Twitter, and Google does. Will their owners Zuckerberg, Dorsey, and Paige be the "Princes of the Power of the Air?" Yes, I believe so. These powerful men will use their social platforms to offer false information to the world"....strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth......(2Cor 2:11,12)." Hey, it wouldn't surprise me that one of guys might be the Anti-Christ.
Yes, I believe that Big Tech social leaders will be the under princes and have the power of the air under Prince Satan who will have them promoting the Anti-Christ and censoring those that oppose him. Listen, this is bigger than what we can imagine. These guys are very powerful, and no one is reigning in their power. Maybe they can't. How powerful are they? Well, Facebook has 2.7 billion active users in the world in 111 languages. This is staggering! How about Google? It's even worse. They have a large range of services such as Chrome, YouTube, Android, and several others. So, the total number of users is difficult to tell because each user can use multiple Google products. But, Android alone has over 2 billion users. The other Big Tech company, Twitter, is much smaller with around 340 million users worldwide. So, we see that these leaders of world wide social media are becoming more powerful and letting it show in 2020. They will no doubt become the voice of the Anti-Christ when he appears.
You see, God is allowing all this to happen in 2020. He is removing the restraints from Big Tech. These guys have been around for 15 to 20 years, but this year God has lifted His restraints off of these wicked men, and they are showing their true colors. In 2020, they became actively involved in the affairs of the US, but later they will expand their influence in the world's affairs.
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
These Big Tech leaders will be apart of the Anti-Christ's propaganda machine. The Bible says in 2Co 11:14 "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;....". Those verses say that Satan transforms himself as an "angel of light." This will also be true of his "messengers." Of course, in the context, these verses are speaking of false teachers and false apostles in Paul's day. But, I believe it can also apply to these "messengers" of information today and especially in the future when they identify themselves with the Anti-Christ.
"So, are you saying that these Big Tech leaders are messengers of Satan." Well, why not? Don't they even now control the information in their respective social formats? And, it will become worse in the future, not better. They will indeed be under the influence of the Spirit of the Anti-Christ that is already in this world (1John 4:3).
Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! When you read this verse in it's context, you will see that it is not directly referring to Lucifer, or Satan, but to the king of Babylon. It is that they are so tightly connected, it is referring to the king as if he were Lucifer. Why? Because Lucifer is behind this king influencing him.
This association of a man to Satan was similar when Jesus told His disciples that he would suffer many things of the Jewish leaders, be killed, and be raised again the third day, and Peter said, "Not so Lord." Jesus then responded, "Get thee behind me Satan" (Matt 16:21-23). Jesus called Peter, Satan. Why? Because Peter was being influenced by Satan. Thus, in Isaiah 14, he calls the king of Babylon, Lucifer, because the king is under the influence of Satan. But, this king is being influenced a lot more by Satan than Peter. The king is absolutely possessed by the devil and doing his bidding. Now, no doubt the king of Babylon doesn't know he is serving Satan, but he is. They are two peas in a pod.
Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
This is what the king of Babylon said in his heart, but, it is also telling us it is exactly what Satan said in his heart a long time before the king ever said it. And, you know, the Anti-Christ will also think it and say it, that he is so high and lifted up. And furthermore, the messengers of the Anti-Christ will also do the same, that they too, are high and lifted up. And, who are his messengers? In my opinion, some of his top messengers will be the Big Tech leaders. You see, they are all kindred spirits. They think the same, act the same, and speak the same. It isn't anything new.
Speaking of God's timing, I believe the same was true with Judas. Why did he sell Jesus out for 30 pieces of silver? Lu 22:3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot.... Now, why didn't this possession take place earlier? Because it was not God's time. Satan would have entered Judas at anytime if he could have, but he was restrained from doing so by God. It was only when it was God's time that He lifted His hand, and the restraints were lifted.
So, my point is that maybe in 2020, God has likewise lifted the restraints over these young evil powerful men in America. God is sovereign and everything happens according to His plan when the time is right. God does not make evil men do what they do, but God may restrain them from doing certain evils until it's according to His time.
Thus, I believe that this past year 2020 was when God has lifted the restraints of evil leaders in America to fit into His time frame. So, what is so special about 2020 concerning High Tech and the Media? They have emboldened themselves and have made their move to achieve their agenda, and it started in 2020. God is allowing them to do this. The time has come. God has lifted the restraints over them and they are doing their thing. During the Tribulation Period when the Beast demands that people take the Mark of the Beast, then I think Big Tech will have a huge part in all that. How do you think that people won't be able to buy or sell unless they have that mark? It will be by technology that will be devoted to the Beast.
But, the spirit of Anti-Christ is moving now. Just check this out for example. Notice the number of this House Bill introduced back in May 2020 so that we can be traced.

"To authorize the Secretary of Health and Human Services acting through the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, to award grants to eligible entities to conduct diagnostic testing for COVID–19, and related activities such as contact tracing, through mobile health units and, as necessary, at individuals’ residences, and for other purposes, to trace and monitor the contacts of infected individuals, and to support the quarantine of such contacts,."
Interesting the number of that bill is 6666. Are they stupid? No, just being sarcastic, I suppose. How about one more. This one could very well advance the groundwork for the “Mark of the Beast?”
3). THE U.S. PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
a) Covid-19 had an effect on the presidential election, right? Sure it did. Without that, the economy would be strong, but instead millions of businesses were closed and people laid off. With all the fears of the virus, the efforts to slow it down, the shut downs, closing of businesses and schools, and all the events associated with Covid-19, it's had an influence on the election. In my opinion, Trump would have easily won had it not been for the virus.
b) The Race issues had an effect on the presidential election, right? Exactly. The continued protests and riots disrupted the country as never before. It went on for months and months, all the way up to the election. The mainstream media used racial tension against Trump painting him as a racist.
c) Big Tech and the News Media had an effect on the presidential election, right? Most certainly. The news media caused a great deal of damage, but it was Big Tech that had its part in censoring conservatives and promoting liberals, even to the point of "fact checking" President Trump and slapping "No Evidence" on his tweets. Can you believe that? Do liberals ever give "evidence?" Trump's Tweets helped him win the 2016 election by getting his message out to the voters, bypassing mainstream media, but this would not be allowed by Twitter in the 2020 election. Even the high tech Dominion voting machines played a part in the fraud and cheating, and Big Tech and the mainstream news media protected them.
There is no doubt in my mind that President Trump won the 2020 election. It was clear that all the above were out to get him. They wanted him out and did what ever it took to give him the boot out of office, including lying and cheating.
But, in the grand scheme of things, Trump lost the election because God wanted him out. God is sovereign and all the above could have been prevented if it were God's will, but it wasn't. How do I know this? Da 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings:
God set up Trump as President in 2016, when down in the polls, he beat Clinton. The Democrats could not believe it happened and for three years disregarded him as a legit president. In their eyes, he just could not have won. But, he did. Why? God set him up. But, in 2020, God has removed him and allowed Biden to become president. Why? Because America is not going to become "Great Again." That is sad, but it's God's time for America to become weak again.
Biden had about eleven million votes more that Obama, the Democrat's favorite beloved president. So, how did Biden do it? Well, because they hated Trump that much, and because they also cheated, no doubt. How much? We don't know. But, enough to win the election, that's how disparate they were. But, not only was the hatred of Trump their motive, but also to bring in their ways of tearing down nationalistic U.S. and replacing it with a socialistic and globalist nation.
The U.S. is one of the very few nationalistic countries in the world. Most all other countries are globalists or moving toward globalism. What is globalism? "Global societies cannot be about one nation, no matter how big or influential. A global society, therefore, must be international. This happens when a nation is interconnected to other nations." (Inuk Lee). This is globalism which means each country views the needs of the world first, their country second. Nationalism is just the opposite. Nationalists put their country first. The world comes second. We have national borders and regulate immigration. They don't. Globalism firmly believe there should be no superpowers.
Of course, God has always been in favor of nations being independent of one another as evidenced in the Tower of Babel where He separated the languages and the people. But, globalists want to bring everyone together. No national borders. No superpower. Just one big happy world family. What's wrong with that? Well, in a sinful world, if the world can become united, then it would be easier for Satan to rule than in a world divided up into countries. So, in my view, Trump's efforts in keeping America independent and nationalistic was the right thing to do at the time.
However, the time has changed, and God in 2020 is allowing people to do the wrong thing and go against His will. This is what happened in Trump losing the election. God is allowing America to become a globalist nation. Obama started it on a large scale, but Trump reigned it in, giving us one last gasp of life and freedom, but now it's back to our old path of globalism again. Because of Trump, the Left is now much more motivated with their socialism and globalism than they were under Obama. Because Trump tried to Make America Great Again, they are attacking with an avengeance to make sure there are no more relapses.
Remember when Obama did his apology world tour, apologizing for American supremacy? He acted upon his promises by putting into motion his actions that would bring us down to being on the same level as the other nations. He reduced the US military. He began wealth distribution and opened the borders. However, Trump has in three years tried to undo all that by rebuilding American strength, the economy, and to secure the borders. And, this is correct. We haven't tried to overtake the world, or conquer other countries, but we try to help keep the peace and keep the "evil doers" from doing their thing.
But, the US is changing rapidly. Even Trump's first Secretary of Defense, James Mattis recently said, "America first" has meant "America alone," making the nation more vulnerable to emerging threats." He of course was soon let go because his views on globalism were not in line with President Trump's views of American nationalism, "Make America Great Again."
So, what will Biden do? He will return American back to the policies of former President Obama in transitioning American into a more European style socialistic country. We will become apart of the globalist movement, of the one world economy, and one world government (NATO, UN). Biden will downsize the US military and weaken America so it will not be able to challenge Russia, China, the European Union, or any confederation of Arab nations.
Furthermore, I hate to say it, but the US will abandon Israel, but God will fight for her and protect her. In the end, Israel will repent of her national sins of rejecting Christ, and she will at the close of the Tribulation period call upon Christ Jesus for salvation.
So, what happens when the US is no longer a superpower? It will allow the Anti-Christ to do his thing. He will fill the void created by a weakened America, he will rise in power, and he himself will become a world superpower.
I view President Trump as one of the greatest Presidents that we have ever had, and wished he could have continued another term, but that is not within God's plan, for it is He that "changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings:"
SUMMARY AND CLOSING COMMENTS
I just can't help seeing that 2020 is the Beginning of the End. These four big events in the past year are unprecedented. In our lifetime, 1) we have never seen such a world wide pandemic with all the shutdowns and restrictions. 2) We have never seen such racial tensions, lawlessness, and leaders allowing it to happen with treats of tearing down the country and rebuilding it. 3) We have never before seen Big Tech and the mainstream media controlling information and censoring those they disagree with on such a large scale, even to overthrow an election. And, 4) we have never seen such a presidential election so filled with fraud and a loss of confidence in the electoral system, with the removal of a president that was loved by so many, and replace by a bland candidate that will become a puppet for the Left.
Everything that has happened, all the lying and cheating, God has allowed it to happen. God could have stopped it simply by not allowing that infected bat in China to spread a world wide pandemic. God also could have kept that knee of that police officer from killing George Floyd. God could have stopped it all at any time. But, the Bible tells us what His plan is for the world. That the world is going to be judged, punished, and that His Son will then come back to reign on the earth. Read it. It's there in His Word.
I am not saying that we are close to the end, or that it's right around the corner. No, I'm just saying that I believe that 2020 is the beginning of the process which will lead up to the End. How long is that process going to take? I have no idea. It could take awhile or it could come very quickly. But, I believe we will look back and see that it was 2020 when God put it into motion, the beginning of the End. Our time, the Time of the Gentiles, the Church Age, is about over. Then, it will be God's time to open a new chapter, the chapter entitled "Jacob's Trouble." The stage is being set. The props are being brought out and being put into place. Yes, it may take some time, or it may come quickly, but it is coming.
Re 22:20 ..... Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
That was John's prayer after seeing all the visions the Lord Jesus gave him concerning the End Times. "Even so, come, Lord Jesus." This should also be our prayer. We should be looking forward to His coming. We should never be worried, or anxious about Christ coming to Rapture us out of the world. We don't want to be around when the Tribulation Period starts. It will be Hell on earth. God's judgement will fall on the world as never before during those seven years of tribulation.
Lu 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Our great Hope is the Rapture, the Lord Jesus coming to receive up His Church, all those on earth that truly belong to Him. So, with anticipation, we look forward to His coming.
1 Corinthians 1:7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.
2 Timothy 4:8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
2 Peter 3:12 .....Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God
Philippians 3:20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ...
Romans 8:19 The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.
So God wants us to eagerly wait for our Savior. He wants us to be eager about it, not dreading it. It's His will that we long for, and look forward to the coming of the Lord Jesus. This is our blessed Hope! And not only ours, but all of creation waits in eager expectation too!
Once we see the Lord Jesus and get a peek into Heaven, we would never want to return to this earth. But, the Bible says we will return. We will return when the Lord Jesus returns after the Great Seven Year Tribulation Period to set up his one thousand year kingdom of peace on earth, and we will reign with Him. It will be a time of perfect peace on the entire earth. This is not a fairy tale. There are many prophesies in the Bible that clearly states this will happen. So, let's be desirous for His coming.
"Prudence inquired, 'And what is it that makes you desirous to go to Mount Zion?' Christian replied, 'Why, it is there that I hope to see alive my Savior who hung dead on the cross. It is there that I hope to be rid of all those things that to this day are an annoyance to me. They say that in that place there is no death, and I will dwell there with the company that I like best. For, to tell you the truth, I love Him because He eased me of my burden. I am weary of my inward sickness. I desire to be where I will die no more, with a company that will continually cry, 'Holy, holy, holy!'' (John Bunyan's Pilgrims Progress).
So, because of 2020, I believe we are in motion that leads us to all this. The Rapture could come at any time. I believe that the Anti-Christ has already been born. He could be a teen, or in his 20's or 30's. But, he can't make his move until the Rapture takes place. Until "he that let's, shall let until he be taken out of the way."
2Th 2:7 "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed,...."
So, I believe I can say that in 2020 "the mystery of iniquity does already work," but someone has to "be taken out of the way," before that Wicked one can be revealed. We assume that "he" that is restraining until "he" be taken out of the way is the Holy Spirit, because of the masculine pronoun, and I believe this is very true. But, I do want to give another interpretation.
I had a thought concerning that maybe this "he that is restraining" could have an application to the U.S. , which is hindering, restraining the Anti-Christ's appearance until the U.S. be taken out of the way, as being no longer a world power to restrain him. I wondered if any others had this thought, so I searched some commentaries and found that several others seemed to say something similar, that the "he" was the Roman Emperor of the Roman Empire, the superpower at that time the verse was written.
For example, Barnes says, "The belief among the primitive Christians was, that what hindered the rise of the man of sin (in their day) was the Roman empire, and therefore "they prayed for its peace and welfare, as knowing that when the Roman empire should be dissolved and broken in pieces, the empire of the man of sin would be raised on its ruins."
Either way, it doesn't matter. The outcome will be the same except what happens to us. If we are speaking of the Holy Spirit, then the Holy Spirit is taken out, and we along with Him in the Rapture. Then begins the Tribulation. The Holy Spirit is removed from this world which gives the Man of Sin his opportunity to make his move. This makes the best sense to me. So, I believe the "he" in the verse is the Holy Spirit, not the emperor of Rome in that day, not the U.S. in our day.
However, if the early Christians were right, then it infers that they felt they would be going through the Tribulation period, and I don't think that lines up well with other Scriptures. Remember, the two epistles to the Thessalonians were two of the first three book written in the New Testament in 52 or 53 AD, so they did not have all the other NT Scriptures at that time, which would come later. Furthermore, the Book of Revelation was written by John about about 45 years after Paul wrote Thessalonians. Furthermore, in all the verses listed above about the Rapture, we are told to not fear, but be eager in looking forward to it, because we would miss the appearance of the Wicked One, which would not seem to make sense if we see ourselves going through the Tribulation Period. ".....to escape all these things that shall come to pass, ...." (Luke 21:36).
We may see things get pretty bad until the Rapture comes, but, there's no comparison to how bad it will be to go through the Tribulation. But, I really believe the Rapture will come before The Great Tribulation, "Pre Trib," not after it, "Post Trib."
Furthermore, the following verses don't sound like there is any great tribulation going on at the "coming of Christ,"
Mt 24:37 "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark," (this sounds like just the normal routine of living going on. It doesn't sound like they are in tribulation).
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
It is clear to me that in the examples of the Rapture, "that one shall be taken up, and one shall be left behind" is when the Lord comes. If this is not speaking of the Rapture, then I don't know what else it could be.
In closing, I want to use this passage to encourage and comfort you in Christ, that you may look up, keeping your eyes upon Him with that glorious Hope. There are several reasons why we should eagerly look forward to His coming. One of them is that we will not have to go through through death, but "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we (the living) shall be changed" (1Cor 15:52).
1Th 4:15 ........ that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore COMFORT ONE ANOTHER WITH THESE WORDS.
